Gray Composting Services Ltd
In February 2007 we were the first in-vessel composting company in the North of Scotland to reach SVS accreditation. We completed a trial along with Aberdeenshire Council for treating waste kitchen food. We have now reached PAS100 level in February 2010. We recently completed an expansion so that we can handle and grade all our compost under cover. Output is currently being used by our parent company helping to produce high quality export seed potatoes and cereals, also reducing inorganic fertilizers. Waste heat is recovered to provide the Site Manager's house with central heating and hot water.
